Managing Classes in the Sharp Teacher App

Creating a Class:

  1. Navigate to the Home Screen: Open the Sharp Teacher app and go to the home screen.
  2. Create a New Class: Click on the "Create Class" button. A pop-up will appear prompting you to enter class information.
  3. Enter Class Details:

    Fill in the following fields:

    1. Title: Enter the full title for your class (e.g., Class 7B).
    2. S. No: Assign a serial number for student promotion to the next class (e.g., for Class 5, enter 5; for Class 6, enter 6, and so on).
    3. Label: Provide a short name for the class, using a maximum of 3characters (e.g., for Class 7B, enter 7B).
  4. Save Your Class: Click the "Save" button. A confirmation message will appear, and the new class will be listed on the home screen.

Updating a Class:

  1. Access the Menu:
    • Click on the Menu button located in the top left corner to open the menu options.
  2. View Classes:
    • Select Classes from the menu. A list of your classes will be displayed.
  3. Choose the Class to Edit:
    • Click on the vertical three dots (â‹®) next to the class you want to update. A pop-up menu will appear.
  4. Edit Class Information:
    • Select Edit from the pop-up menu. A form will open, allowing you to update the class details.
  5. Update Class Details:
    • Make the necessary changes to the class information, including title, serial number, and label.
  6. Save Changes:
    • Click on the Update Class button to save your changes. A confirmation message will notify you that the class has been successfully updated.

 

Deleting a Class

  1. Open the Menu:
    • Click on the Menu button in the top right corner to reveal the menu options.
  2. Access the Classes List:
    • Select Classes from the menu to view all your classes.
  3. Select the Class to Delete:
    • Click on the vertical three dots (â‹®) next to the class you wish to remove. A pop-up menu will appear.
  4. Deletion:
    • Click on Delete from the pop-up menu. A warning message will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion.
  5. Confirm Deletion:
    • Click Yes to proceed. The class, along with all relevant data, will be permanently deleted, and a notification will confirm the action.
